On an April evening sat by the Holy Island Lime Kilns I was sat waiting for the sun to set, the sky lit up before my eyes with flecks of gold poking out of the dramatic Northumberland spring skies. Lindisfarne Castle built in the 16th century sits on top of a volcanic plug which is known as Beblowe Crag with stones 'borrowed' from Lindisfarne Priory
